Preliminary Project Roadmap
An important part of Step-Soft's team is comprised of consultants, whose main goal is understanding, analyzing, and describing the different processes that need to be covered by the ERP system, according to the client's need. The Preliminary Project Roadmap will then lead to:
- Optimization, semi or full automatization of certain processes;
- Targeting and accounting at critical control points;
- Inclusion of process within the information system, which were not traceable before;
- Distributing and balancing data entry among the proper users of the system;
- Creating possibilities for financial analyses, based on the collected data;
- Implementing barcode and/or RFID control for increased efficiency in the warehouse operations;
- Compatibility of the company documentation to such internationally recognized standards as ISO, HACCP, and other.
Deployment and Training
After the preliminary meetings, the Technological Design is outlined, formalizing the processes and workflow of the entire system. Upon approving the design, the client is fully aware of the final product, and can accordingly amend or add to the planned development. The system is then configured and deployed at several workstations, and a dedicated team on the client's side passes advanced training. This procedure is extremely important, in order to quickly and fully utilize the capacity of the software.
Monitoring
The final stage comes with a period in which the system is used during normal operation, however it is frequently observed by Step-Soft technicians. Final adjustments and minor changes can be made during this period.
